CE Election Forum and Public Participation 特首選舉論壇的公眾參與

Donald had turned down the invitation to the March-07 CE Election Forum organized by a group of EC members without giving a good reason for it. If it is because he does not want to face the public then I am extremely disappointed.

The March-07 Forum should proceed. Although we may have only one CE candidate to the forum, we have no ground to further cancel the minimal participation of the public. It may not be a perfect arrangement with one candidate only but it will not be a biased forum. In several forums of sectors where only one CE candidate did attend, the candidate had to demonstrate his capability to the bombardment of questions.
